Engineered Hardwood

Engineered wood is made up of a thin slice of hardwood on top of a base of layered high-quality plywood. It is more dimensionally stable, making it better suited for climates with fluctuating weather and humidity (hello Ontario!) Engineered hardwood is suitable for above and below grade.

Laminate Floors

Laminate floors are thin pieces for paper printed and glued onto a plywood core. Laminate flooring is a very cost effective product that gives you the look of hardwood without the cost.

Solid Hardwood

Solid hardwood is a solid piece of wood that has been milled and then stained and cured. Solid harwood comes in many different varieties of wood and finishes to suit your taste and needs. Solid harwood can be sand and re finished on site to help the longevity of your floors as styles change.

Sanding & Refinishing

Well maintained hardwood floors can last a lifetime. We highly recommend refinishing your hardwood floors from time to time. It can preserve the life of your professional hardwood flooring and rejuvenate the look of your space.

At S&R Flooring Concepts Inc we offer dustless processing when refinishing your hardwood floors. We use a system that captures and contains about 99% of the dust that would otherwise be released into the air.

It is healthier than regular sanding methods because it helps to maintain your indoor air quality which is especially good for those who suffer from asthma and/or allergies.

Dustless processing is more efficient and requires less cleanup – which also leads to fewer issues down the road when the dust is not removed properly creating problems during the finishing process.
